Lloyd Buchanan, Consultant

Born and raised in Atco Village, Lloyd retired from Goodyear in 1986 and joined our staff the very next day as the manager of the funeral home. With his oversight and direction, our funeral home experienced its first period of tremendous growth. This growth created the need to expand our facilities. The "face" of our building completely changed with the first addition and redesign of the building in 1991. Lloyd also oversaw the most recent addition to the building in 1995. Lloyd currently assists our staff as a consultant.  Lloyd is married to the former Charlotte Jones who was born and raised in Sugar Valley. They have one son, Mark. Lloyd's sister, Ruth Wilson, retired from our staff as the office manager. Lloyd, Charlotte and Mark are active members of Atco Baptist Church.  Most people remember Lloyd because of his distinctive bass voice. His forty-two year career in gospel music took him all over the Southeast to perform in churches, festivals and television studios. Lloyd retired from the funeral home in 2015, but visits us frequently.
